Gary,
I agree to certain extent that company CEOs should keep the Street informed and should maintain good relationship. examples are DELL as you said. i can include MSFT/CSCO in these. But to give some credit to KE, may be he is still not so confident about their Business compared to these companies. I think even Dell was not respected till 1995. It became hot only from mid 96 i think because they proved again and again. For IOM to get to that stage, it might take a while. I don't think IOM is still a power like MSFT/CSCO/DELL but should gain power when they capture the market slowly. After that KE will come in Fortune cover page and will be appreciated by everyone as visionary and genius. I am not saying these will happen for sure but a good chance for them.
