I am long ISSI since 1996 and the old highs of 1995 do look elusive at this time, however..... In the SRAM Commerce ruling ISSI gets a 10% levy which is the smallest and one reason for the recent decline (It also had gone up from around $6). As the SRAM market stabilizes or goes up ISSI will do just fine. The RAM dumping case in the 1980's (against the Japanese) had a net economic result of raising the prices on components. I think the SRAM/SEMI situation and ISSI's stock price will take a bit longer to play out (6-9 months?) but it looks like a strong semi recovery into 1998. Be patient (be happy?) though some positive earnings would be encouraging. Regards
