NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Al Jazeera, the Arab television network, is broadcasting what it says is a new audio tape from the number two man in al-Qaida, U.S. cable news channels reported Friday.
Brief reports on the comments of Ayman al-Zawahiri quoted him as warning the U.S. it should be prepared to harvest what it plants and saying the U.S. has been defeated in Afghanistan.

DJ Al Jazeera/Al-Qaida -2: Deputy US Defense Secy Mentioned
According to MSNBC, al-Zawahiri said that U.S. leaders everywhere, including in Iraq, are barely surviving strikes, and then mentioned Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz.
Wolfowitz was in a Baghdad hotel that was hit by a rocket in late October, killing a U.S. colonel. U.S. officials said later there was no indication that Wolfowitz was the target of the attack.
