Looking for a high end laptop - desktop replacement. I understand that there are new chips for 2006 that enhance battery life so that even a relatively heavy computer is more portable.

Anyone made any purchases lately in the high end market? I want the very high resolution - forget what's it's called but I now use 1600 x 1200.

Realize I have to pay $2000+. Any suggestions?
