The rich should sacrifice tax cuts to pay for the war. Absolutely. This is all credit card spending, yet the rich are having a hey day. They already had the lowest taxes in the western world and plenty of write-offs and loopholes to take advantage of. Now they can easily pay far less percentage wise than the average factory worker. It's a real scam. Those with money buy influence and the GOP hands out the policy. Bush's whole rationale for the tax cuts was the presumed 5.6 trillion surplus which is now a trillion + deficit. So why hasn't he changed his tune? Something to do with those campaign contributions? Corruption Inc.

BTW: I'll bet you Halliburton and Bectel pay very little tax on their huge Iraq contracts.
