lorne, there's a possibility the undervalued houses could sell at sometime in the future at a profit. IMO that was simply part of the sales pitch to get the bill passed.

You are correct--if the worst happens for the US and the world, Obama won't have many sheckles to play with as Pres - UNLESS his foreign campaign contributors step up to the plate...or possibly the third world will grant him a loan.<g>
