I must warn you Fred Puppet that I am liberal arts by training. GERN kinda feel reminds me of coming out from a big snow storm and seeing neighbors for the first time in a few days.(:>) I did note 5643890 UofNE, as well as 5648215 UT@Austin. I was concerned about these and was not sure if GERN had an affiliation w/ either of these universities. Your concerns regarding these patents seems reasonable to me. >>congress is moving to outlaw patents on human DNA/RNA sequences. I have not been following that legislation<<For me this is the biggest near term point from this whole mess, are broad patents like 5583016 allowable/defensable? I think it may have the biggest impact on the genomics and antisense-type companies. Would you know a HRbill nbr or anything? squetch
