thanks nspolar...re: your EW Chart for the HUI.

Your HUI Chart kind of fits my "timeframe" thinking.

Technically, the next point of support for the HUI is 190.

Traders need to respect the power of the Fed Rate Hikes vis a vis US Dollar Strength...especially, if the Fed can keep all of the holes in the Global Financial System Dikes filled a bit longer...

While there are a myriad of potential catalysts that may move Gold at any given moment; one of my more basic thoughts is that if Gold and the Goldstocks continue to trade within a banded range here... perhaps from 190 to 227; that come Q1 2006 - I believe that the US Economy will be rolling over hard & fast and that the Fed will do what they do best...

Cut Rates & Inflate.

...and THAT sans any interim surprises for the US Dollar,or Gold - will be "the" launching platform for Gold and Goldstocks to make yet another significant and perhaps uninterrupted run to NEW HIGHS.

...fits your EW Chart pretty well from a time-standpoint.

I am really curious to see how Saville and a few other Gold Commentators analysis & predictions for significant lower lows for Gold and Goldstocks plays out... that also matches your EW Chart.

PS: Did you see TA Veteran Ralph Bloch on CNBC Monday slam "Elliot Wave" TA and Prechter specifically ?

That was "quite unusual" and I didn't expect that type of comment from such an old Pro ?

Seemed more fitting for SI than CNBC (vbg)?

- perhaps some longstanding rivalry... ?

Anyway; Thanks for your very interesting Chart.

While I still consider myself to be more "fundamentally" oriented in my Trading Style.... I'm committed to studying TA to a much greater depth this Summer and have a friend who's been a pretty good mentor - that is spending a lot of time with me on many fronts.

I still have my Christmas to New Years Vacation timeframe open and committed to studying EW.

I just don't have any time for any new "obsessions" untill then (vbg)....especially with the ND Football Season waiting in the wings...

Thanks,
