I received a message back from ISSI, after writing an e-mail to them.

Since early 1996, I have lost a -lot- of money by being patient with ISSI, esp in my IRA account.

And I don't consider $10K a lot in stock market terms.

So my remarks were....vitriolic?? So you will see reference to my "tone" in this response, using "copy" and "paste"

Mr. Scott Bergquist:

Thank you for your email of September 22, 1997.

The Intel flash announcement involved high density (64 meg) flash and we
focus on low density (1meg, 2 meg & 4 meg) flash. It is generally known
that our non-volatile product lines - including flash - are currently only
20% of our revenue with SRAM being about 75% to 80%.

Except for your inquiry, we had not received any IR calls regarding this
matter. While we regret to see our stock drop, we do not believe its
movement is specifically linked to Intel's flash announcement.

I will be happy to discuss this matter if you wish to call me at
408-969-4612. I choose to look beyond the unusual tone of your email in an
effort to respond in a professional and business like manner.

Cordially,

Gary L. Fischer
Executive V.P. &
Chief Financial Officer

But.. that's it??
