RE:"Intel is not comming clean on this issue. Intel msut have an alterior motive for it's use". I think they are just sitting on thir hands, whistling Dixie and seeing if the problem will go away. It won't. Intel probably used the ID thing to sell software makers on developing apps that use KNI...Now they have serious egg on their face and something else discoloring their pants. Jim
