The principal argument in favor of a MW at all is that on balance, the poor are better off than without it. It costs jobs, but to a point, that is more tolerable than having plenty of low-wage jobs.

This makes no sense. If a $.35 per hour increase in wages can tank a company, that company would tank eventually one way or the other. What is with you people.....always trying to screw the poor and defend the rich?
