Snopes, eh? That's a great analogy. I wish I'd thought of that one myself. I agree that the Gates worshiping gets ridiculous, but by the same token I'm sick of the whining about the evils of Microsoft being responsible for all the ills of the tech world. He is neither Saint nor Satan. He's just someone who got very rich by being smarter and luckier than his competition.
