Who cares about Brennan's objectivity?. If the fact is that Gary Johnson was beaten under such circumstances, and I am willing to believe that the incident would be in the local papers from the time period involved, what difference does political orientation make in reporting facts? Other than that a lot of reporting suffers from the somewhat obvious color of language and connotation to pursue an agenda. Facts are facts. By themselves they have no slant or agenda one way or the other. It's only when it comes to interpretation of those facts that bias comes into play. That's why a thinking person will try to recognize the bias or agenda of whoever is reporting the facts and form their own opinion. Hopefully based on the facts, colored by their own individual life experiences which in turn will lead to a coloration of those facts when next recounted to someone else. But the facts won't change.
