Alexa-- Yes, a disagreeable habit, though they're just trying to make your home special. But don't you have any pets? As noted much earlier, I've had most of what's generally available. Not all were fun, or even interesting, and some were problematic (though when they became too much to deal with they were dispatched to Farmer Brown's abattoir) but I can't imagine growing up without them. I don't have any now--my cat died a couple of years ago--and am not planning on acquiring any, as if you live alone and travel it isn't practical. But I'm thinking of getting one of those Japanese chicken things... Janice
