Thanks... actually, I did very well in the long platinum position, I took a very minimal loss in the long silver, and I took a regular loss in the gold which pretty much made up for the gains in platinum... overall, it was in the red, but just barely... I would call it a break even wash and now my short gold and short silver positions are nicely profitable... so, on balance I'm slightly ahead... my model never gave me a gold buy signal, but it did come close... but apparently, after the gold market began to approach that buy price trigger, the market just collapsed... this further validates my model for gold and also tells me not to buy until a signal is triggered... in fact, now, I'm getting closer to another major sell signal for gold at which point I will add to my short position... GZ
