I don't like most of Kevin Costner's movies, but I've seen "Open Range" at least a dozen times. This trailer covers some of the highlights. youtube.com I particularly like Duvall's line: "A man's got the right to protect his property and his life and we ain't going to let any rancher (Corporate CEO with golden parachute) or lawman (politicians in bed with them) to take either." And I like what happens to the bad guy who says "Yeah, and I enjoyed it too" upon being asked by Costner "Are you the one who killed our friend?" Lonesome Dove has another great scene where Gus and Call hold Jake Spoon accountable for going along with the killings committed by the people he fell in with. "Where's he going?"
