I am a local customer of Frontier and a lt investor. One possible drag is their union contract problem which has streched out 2yrs by now. Doesnt seem to be any end in sight either. Also recently their CEO had brain surgery but is back (maybe 100%and maybe not). Their local service is really poor (several weeks to get 2nd line installed). My feeling is at 21+ and 4% yeild makes it a safe hold for next 2Q's; by then they should be back in favor. My intention is to double up from initial $25 purchase and wait it out. This is really a long term play, not for the traders. TKO, who knows if/when but NYNEX seems best bet to consolidate their upstate NY local phone market.
