Norm: Your enthusiasm in your new position is gratifying. I appreciate your stalwart refusal to produce hard copy documentation for the Investor Packets (IPs). By keeping them "Virtual", you've given a whole new meaning to VIP. The "limited by the scope of their imaginations" retort was sheer genius.

I thought you might catalog the following post in the corporate archives: techstocks.com

It was a kernel of an idea that developed here on SI regarding a software company. That kernel germinated over the following weeks and months to become what we now lovingly refer to as "our" company. Given enough time, I should be able to find the original FBN reference. However, since the subject was discussed matter of factly on several threads, that initial reference is proving hard to find.

I'll have to speak to our Vice President of Research and Development to see what the chances are of enhancing our product to do Artificial Intelligence searches of the web. Since we already handle every conceivable Y2K situation, it doesn't seem like much of a stretch to "genericize" the code to handle it.

Oh, wait a minute ... I just remembered that when I accepted the CEO position, I gave up the VP of R&D position. So, currently we have no such person. Bummer. I sure hope nobody in the investing world finds out that we don't have someone in that key position. Or, for that matter, I hope the investing public doesn't find out that we have nobody in Development, period! That could damage our claims about our continual improvement program and long term software Nirvana promises.

I've noticed that it's getting increasingly more difficult to hide the deep dark secrets about our firm. Please redouble your efforts to conceal all pertinent data. We can't afford to have any leaks.

Thanks for your continued loyalty.
