Regarding silicon versus GaAs (Gallium Arsenide): "The Company believes silicon-based processes tend to be less expensive, more predictable with respect to yields and better able to ramp to high-volume production than non-silicon processes. By using its silicon-based processes and extensive design libraries, the Company is able to offer products that provide significant cost, power, performance and reliability advantages for communications systems OEMs."
