performing rather nicely after the second installment payment. Now in the low $7. Considering that the float price was around $3.30 (factoring in the second installment) approximately 12 months ago, stock price appreciation has been better than most other players on the Australian Stock Exchange. I'm just wondering what will occur when (or *if*) Asia starts 'recovering', as Telstra is regarded by many as a 'defensive stock'. International fund managers may move out of it and into South-East Asian (including commodity) stocks when the tide starts turning in that part of the world. In the meantime, I'm long..and enjoying the ride. Pity I didn't apply for more when it floated. :(
