Smith, age 44, to the newly created position of Executive Vice President, Telecom Ventures. Mr. Smith was formerly Group Executive Vice President, Paging Division at Metromedia International (AMEX: MMG).
Mr. Smith will report directly to Peter S. Pelullo, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Clariti. He will be responsible for exploiting new business opportunities within Clariti's paging and telephony operations, with a particular emphasis on the international front.
