Whatever you do, do NOT buy a Winbook! They work great, until about 2 days after the 1 year warranty runs out.

Then, no one services them, so you have to send them back to the manufacturer in Ohio. (With insurance, it costs about 100 bucks to ship)

I have sent my 1 1/2 year Winbook back three times, because the CD drive quit working. The first time, they sent it back to me, but had done nothing to repair it. $100 wasted. The second time, they not only didn't fix the cd drive, but they fried out the mother board. Another hundred bucks. They sent it back, and it all worked great for about 30 minutes, then the cd drive stopped again. I sent it back one last time. They didnt fix the cd drive, but they did manage to somehow fry the soundcard.

I gave up on them, but not without telling as many people as I can of my experience with the Winbook Corporation.

They say that the good of making 100 customers happy can be un-done with just one unsatisfied customer. These people don't care.

Don't ever buy a Winbook.
