Stock up above $9.

May 30, 1996, King of Prussia, PA -- In anticipation of the June launch of its new line of
Network Computers, HDS Network Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ -- HDSX) today announced it
has established operations in Europe with new offices in London and Munich, and enhanced its
U.S. sales and support capabilities with a new office in Dallas, Texas.

"Network Computers will become more and more vital as companies expand their use of the
Internet and global networks, and HDS is well positioned to provide European and
multinational companies with this solution through its growing international network of
offices", said Michael Kantrowitz, Executive Vice President at HDS.

HDS has named general managers with extensive high-technology marketing experience to
help it continue to grow internationally by establishing a network of value added distributors
and resellers in Europe. Patrick Dunne, based in London, is HDS's general manager for
Northern Europe, and Volker Huth, based in Munich, is general manager for Central and
Eastern Europe. The Dallas sales and support office is headed by Rick Peoples.
