Ron Powell, who reported directly to Richard 'Dick' Levy, then head of the Varian Edward L. Ginzton Research Center in Palo Alto, CA admitted under oath hitting his boss and confessed to sending sexually explicit pornography to work. Seems Mr. Powell, a key Varian (VAR & VSEA), Susan B. Felch and George Zdasiuk SLAPP witness has done some pretty nasty stuff. Now mind you, Mr. Powell's testimony describing in considerable detail Varian's hostile work environment with it's repeated violations of company policy and employee theft isn't going to help win a fascist SLAPP. But that's the way the cookie crumbles. Remember VARI: at least you're not involved!
