Dutch insurer Aegon to buy Nationwide Poland AMSTERDAM, June 6 (Reuters) - Dutch insurer Aegon said on Monday it had agreed to buy Nationwide Poland for an undisclosed sum, in line with its strategy to expand in Central and Eastern Europe. Aegon said the purchase of the Polish life assurer was made from Nationwide Insurance Company, a unit of Nationwide Financial Services Inc. of the U.S.. "We have long regarded Poland as an interesting market with great opportunities," Aegon executive board member Alex Wynaendts said in a conference call.
