I need to reread it- I was skimming as I often do on SI. I hope you can find something because as you noted, it was just one person's unofficial report and view. Just saw that Brown has been removed. I bet it wasn't done nearly as cleverly as the line you said should have been used when Bush met with him on that first trip. "Don't know how we could do this without you, Brownie-- but we're going to try. You're fired." How prophetic of you.
