Carl, re: "shell" companies & name changes, this is quite common
in penny stocks from my experience. I think it has to do with
the practicality of renaming rather than recreating a public
corporation.

Granted, it doesn't seem like the ideal way to build or maintain
credibility, but in and of itself does not necessarily hint at
anything less than legitimate. I mean, if I were going to rip
people off, would I leave such a traceable paper trail?

If the intent were to "scam" people, seems that the scammers
would drop out of sight and reappear with a totally new
entity, not a renamed corporation.
