The licensing agreements vary with the institution involved. With many of NTII's
collaborating scientists, there is stock involved and royalties. Some institutions,
Harvard for example, do not allow their researchers to own stock in the companies.
These researchers usually have some kind of consulting agreement.

NTII doesn't divulge the exact financial terms of these agreements and I don't
have any further insights into their structure. It would be a very bad deal if a
licensing deal involved half the royalties. I don't know, but I would seriously
doubt that any of NTII's agreements involve anywhere near that percentage.
