Gene Screen is a venture capital company.
Visible Genetics is a Molecular Biology related start-up.
Yes, VGI went public in June. On Nasdaq, as I said.
Yes, Gene Screen made an early venture capital investment in VGI. (The prospectus lists their ownership as 28% after the Nasdaq IPO.)
Yes, I want the stock price to go up. My plan to do it though, is to build good product. When there are sales, customers and good product the stock price will look after itself.
I don't have any idea what Gene Screen has to say about VGI, but I can't see that its all that relevent (we are talking about Visible Genetics the molecular biology start up right? Not about venture capital firms.).
Yes, Visible Genetics is based in Toronto. So are you I gather. We are north of city hall. I would guess Gene Screen is down in the financial district somewhere, but I have no real idea. Not the same place anyway.
If you would like, I would be glad to take you on a tour. We are quite real I assure you. I'm an engineer, by the way, and I build software.
I am available tomorrow morning. We are located at 700 Bay street, suite 1000. Send me email to arrange a time.
Or, if you'd rather I can send you a prospectus. I see your web-site (Greenland Irrigation right?), but there is no address. If you send me a snail mail address I'll send you one in the mail tomorrow.
Trust me or don't, I don't really care. Yes, I said up front I work there. I don't mind if there is discussion on both the good and bad side. But I do have a preference for informed discussion and I'm willing to make an effort to help you be better informed.
