Prosoft Responds to Investor Concerns
Company Reiterates Confidence in Future
AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 16, 1998--In an effort to calm investor concerns that there has been an adverse change in the company's outlook since its year-end earnings were released earlier in the week, Prosoft (Nasdaq: POSO - news) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jerry Baird released the following statement:
"The company had an earnings release and a conference call two days ago. Since then there has been no change in the company's outlook that would warrant the recent volatility in its stock. As we told investors on the conference call and in our press release, the business outlook for the company has never been brighter and its expense structure has never been tighter. The recent announcements of our agreements with CompUSA and ExecuTrain, combined with the business we already have in place, provide a solid foundation to achieve revenue growth and profitability in 1999."
