"This war" does not exist.
It is a figment of man's desire to exclude himself from his own humanity. The sooner we discover that we are not alone in the universe the sooner we will know what is truly out there.
Let me pose this to you:
3000+ years ago people had similar happenings to what they have now. They did not have science to explain what happened to them (when, say they had a stroke, or someone had Giantism, or any other miriad of imbreeding problems which would/could/should/and did happen with the dawn of man). They knew that they were not the cause, so they took some unpronouncable name and attributed it to this "name". IT HAPPENED IN EVERY CULTURE ON THE PLANET!!!
So, although the Torah is a nice read why in the name of Heaven (a spiritual place which is sought after as being a goal to get your lifeforce to) would anyone take these writings as (pardon the expression) scripture?

As far as there being UFO's vs Angels - the only way that UFO's are Angels is if they are the one's who prompted the first writers to scribble down all this biblical nonsense in the first place. Why they, at the time they came first, did not tell everyone the same story only strengthens the fact that they are not Angels, but rather Aliens of some sort.

So, is there a war? No.
Is the UFO phenominon just a massive hallucination? Maybe mostly. But do the math - Universe = 10-40 bil yrs old. Dinosaurs (which strangely get no mention in genesis) came and went. Now humans are coming and going (soon). What becomes of the planet after us? has enough microbacteria been transfered into space by NASA to start a race of "somethings" in say another 10-40 billion years somewhere else?(and most certianly there is life elsewhere - mathmatically speaking); anyway I digress - if you would wish to believe in the "Bible" (your version is surely different from mine anyways) believe in its teachings, not in its wording or what it says literally. We would all be better off in the real war (with ourselves) if we concentrated on the teachings, not who wrote it and/or how.
