I received the Quantech annual report today. Nice to see that they are still on track for product submission to FDA this winter.

What I didn't like was the proposal to double the number of authorized shares from the current 60M to 120M. They say it's to a) protect against a hostile takeover, and 2) allow them flexibility in financing their marketing. Quantech makes it clear that they have sufficient funds for FDA submission but not for commercial marketing.

Any thoughts? Is increased financing flexibility worth the huge share dilution?
