SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A "PROOF OF CONCEPT
PROGRAM"
TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 12, 1996-- Paul G. Mighton, CEO of Transformation Processing Inc. (TPI), today
announced the successful completion of a "proof of concept program" with Ralston Purina Canada. The program was
designed to prove TPI's ability to cost-effectively migrate existing Ralston Purina legacy computer systems to newer, more
robust open- systems, designed to support Ralston Purina's needs for more powerful information processing and analysis
tools.
Ralston Purina Canada Inc. has requested the company to convert a further 500,000 lines of code in the next month.
We continue to pursue new business partner alliances as well as enhancing current relationships, such as our Oracle alliance.
As we work on relationships with Information Technology leaders, we are at the same time, working directly with
enterprises in the US, Canada and Europe.
