nokia just announced had aprox 100,000 sales of their smart cell phone since August. Dataquest predicts market will be 2,500,000 by year 2000 in the U.S. alone. Europe and Asia where Nokia and Ericsson kick Motorola butt, are perhaps on a faster track. Ericcson also uses the Geoworks operating system. What they like about, among other things is, is that it appears to be their product and not Microsoft's. NEC and Pheonix Technologies also announced the intention to use the GEOS operating system in their smart phones to be introduced in Japan by the end of the first quarter and the U.S. later this year. I am going to hang in there for this year and see what happens to the stock. I wouldn't be afraid to take profits in the 28-32 range however.
