Al, I like a lot of what Krugman has to say, but there is no bigger lie about health care than the following statement:

I guess the hundreds of thousands of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care workers on the front lines have no say in the matter. Government involvement is the only reason our system works at all.

It's hard to take Krugman seriously when he suffers from that flaw in logic.

EDIT: Krugman may just be talking about insurance, i.e. the means by which health care is paid for.
