People forget that MSN is but one of not less than six separate but related major Internet activities including Expedia, Games, Sidewalk, Investor etc. It is clear that MSFT is focused more upon e-commerce. Maybe it can win at that without baggage of "content". Certainly Expedia is kicking ass in the business travel segment. Preview Travel by contrast is focused via AOL on the far less lucrative consumer market.
