Will the ‘Beeb’ now tackle its Globalist biases?

After non-stop turmoil over rampant biases, Tim Davie has resigned as the director general of the BBC.

This comes as criticism surged after the Broadcaster showed a documentary misleading viewers by deceptively editing a speech by US President Donald J. Trump.

BBC reported:

“Deborah Turness, the corporation’s head of News, has also stepped down from her role over the issue.

Davie had held the top job for five years, but had recently faced increasing pressure over a series of missteps and allegations of bias.”

A leaked internal BBC memo showed the program edited two parts of Trump’s speech together to suggest that he encouraged Capitol Hill riots of January 6th, 2021.



BBC edited Trump’s January 6 speech. Daily Mail reported:

“In a statement, Mr. Davie said: ‘There have been some mistakes made and as director general I have to take ultimate responsibility.’

It comes after the scandal-hit broadcaster was this week plunged into a fresh crisis after an internal dossier exposed a string of incidents that demonstrate serious apparent bias in the Corporation’s reporting.”

“Press secretary Karoline Leavitt said: ‘This purposefully dishonestly, selectively edited clip by the BBC is further evidence that they are total, 100 per cent fake news that should no longer be worth the time on the television screens of the great people of the United Kingdom.”

The resignations come after a ‘newsroom revolt’ over an anchorwoman who corrected ‘pregnant people’ to ‘women’ being publicly censored, and also over fierce criticism for the biased coverage of the Israel-Gaza war and transgender rights.

“The corporation had already been under pressure after admitting to breaking editorial guidelines when Bob Vylan’s ‘deeply-offensive’ chant of ‘death to the IDF’ at Glastonbury was broadcast live to millions.”
