But they do. They are all in the green; the preferred I is up more than 60%. This is one for the banks.

The only way to prevent the levels above the common from profiting is to force a conversion, at least in part, to common.

One thing you have to keep in mind: the preferreds lost their dividends. That is quite a loss for the original preferred holder.
