Aug 27th - Andrea Electronics To Participate In Microsoft Pdt Launch Dow Jones Newswires LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. -- Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) selected Andrea Electronics Corp. (AND) to be one of seven companies to join its Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 promotional effort. Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 is set to be released on Sept. 30. In a press release Wednesday, Andrea said as part of the promotion, customers participating in Microsoft's "Reserve Your Copy Early," program will receive a commemorative edition of the Internet browser and coupons offering $10 off the list price of Andrea's voice solutions PC headsets. The American Stock Exchange last reported Andrea's stock up 4 1/4 at 38 1/4 on 441,000 shares. Andrea Electronics develops and manufactures audio communications equipment.
