VisionTech is aiming at the low end market. Their encoder does not recognize scene change, so at low bit-rate the quality sucks. Cube announces DVxcel in a hurry because they don't want to miss the PVR boat. By driving on a Cadillac before, I don't want to hop into a Pinto. But unfortunately the Cadillac coming out of the assembly line misses the steering wheel...
