victor: we are seeing a revolving take out of tech sectors coming prior to a spring runup and late spring swoon, in my view. telecom/networking take out is in the cards, too. But all this is just noise. The broad secular trends are still very much intact. That's what the macro-numbers are telling us. CPQ has its problems, the pc industry has its problems; I don't mean to minimize either. But the reasons I am in tech stocks in general and, in this case, CPQ in particular, are solid: this is where money is being made and will continue to be made over the long term. M2
