OrionX Microdrive? Not a snowflake in hells chance of being taken seriuosly in photography. Suffers from all the problems associated with centrifugal forces on spindle mountings. They don't like being moved around when they are spinning. Disk drives go wrong. We all know that. Everyone who has a computer or a laptop has had or knows of someone that has suffered a loss of data due to a malfunctioning disk drive. We've all been waiting to get rid of physically moving memory devices in relatively stable devices never mind cameras. Power consumption.... Cost Lastly so far as cameras at least are concerned moving to an old fashioned obsolete technology like a rotating disk drive is a hugely retrograde step. Regards, L
