Yamakita, I just think that a sharp rise in ASND's price before 10/1/98 may prompt LU to delay the purchase until ASND stumbles a bit or momentum people/speculators leave after becoming convinced that the acquisition isn't likely. Of course, after 10/1/98, ASND's share price most likely will have strong support because everyone will know that LU will swoop in on any weakness.
