John, You might want to confirm the facts before you begin accusing individuals of "negative hype with no supporting information" and "Some people will say anything to cause a short in the stock." Syquest's SEC filings will tell you that they needed to increase the authorized to 240 million in part due to their desire to have available shares to cover those "accounted for" beyond the existing 120 million authorized. Perhaps in the future you'll consider simply asking fellow posters how certain info might be verified. BTW, this shares info was discussed and explained on this thread a short time ago.
