It is clear to me that the vast expansion of the federal budget this year is not going to be easily reversible. The "porkulus" projects are allocated over several years, TARP assets aren't easily unloaded back onto fragile markets, and don't even get me started on universal health care.

If they're going to be Keynesians, they should at least do it properly. Of course, you probably know that they never intended to be true Keynesians ...
