It's a great freebie for us early members, but it won't be worth anything to anybody if you guys go under.

I'd gladly pay $10 or $20 a year to continue membership.

And frankly, I would not object all that much to seeing a few ads -- provided they didn't slow down the display too much.

And if you ever wanted to take SI public I would even buy a little stock -- but ONLY if you present a viable business plan.

For that, you DO need to have more coming in than going out.

Of course -- from your own standpoint -- it might make more sense to run up SI's numbers and then sell SI for a huge fortune and retire in luxury. However, I am sure the buyer would then charge, or advertise, or both. I hope that's not your plan. This place wouldn't be the same without you.
