Greg:

You were posting that "on the way to 20 million chips" statement
at the same time I was adding my long-winded diatrible. ( I need
to practice my English as it's getting to sound too much like
Engelish! Sorry about that.)

The BW article says 3 1/2 million k6 is the projection for next
year and from there on it's onward and upward. And, of course,
there's the MMC which Business Week says was a very smart licensing
move on AMD's part and then the k7 which, if rumor has it right, is
going to run away with it.

Also, it appears that Intel may have made a fatal error with its
highly-touted "Klamath." Let's hope not as that INTC stock is a
very expensive and over-priced stock that will really implode if
some of those negative rumors are true and many AMD investors are
also holding Intel.

For those INTC investors of the type that Brian pointed out, however,
(and one or two of the Intelopers who also hold AMD), perhaps INTC will take an immediate short term dump such as the one it took a couple of years ago and that will scare those folks out of tech stocks
once and for all.

Not to mention anyone in particular, of course.

Good luck...IMO you're wise to stay long on AMD even though it's a
temptation to lock in that much profit, even though I congratulate
those who, like Kiriakos, were fortuitous enough to make a 50% profit
on AMD and then go on to make another 50% on whatever.

As for me, I'm sticking with my 350% plus for now and hoping that it's
not going to turn out to be a stupid error.
