Dave, All:. Who bought Exponential (at auction ?) ? Exponential was to be sold at auction a few months back . Rumor was INTC was going to outbid all (AMD, CYRIX etc) to buy the technicals . EXP had some high powered plans/designs/patents - who got them ? AAPL could benefit big time if the PowerPC dies and need access to them . On your NC topic , I am confused by IBM's recent actions . It killed supporting INTC/MSFT Network NC after it brought out its "Bluebird" . Bluebird is a NC subset of OS/2 for INTC systems , IBM is the PowerPC prime mover , so it seems MSFT and IBM's PowerPC are the casualties ?? Bizare - seems like IBM is shooting itself in its PowerPC/NC foot ?
