They would pretend they were sick or injured, and then screw the women when the others were on the hunt. They would loudly accuse others of doing that to draw suspicion away. Sooner or later the others would twig and kill them, but by then they had managed to reproduce... Got it... and that's why they keep getting caught cheating on their wives, it's in the genes.
