Tim: That's possible, but Loral is it's own best customer. Chinasat 8 could be rejiggered for Orion 3, or any of the upcoming Telstars(8,9,?). Also could be used for Brazil 1. How about do a partnership with APT and launch it into one of their slots with very little rework needed? AsiaSat/SES? Mabuhay? Endless possibilities to recover IF that deal is cancelled. Having said that, the odds are that it won't get cancelled.
